Anyone else got one ? What is your thoughts ?

Had mine for about 6 months. Great woods companion. I use mine mainly for fire prep., anything from splitting wood to making feather sticks.
Not too big, not too small. Confortable design for longer use.
The only minor issue for me was using the ferro rod notch.
There are dome good vids on youtube for that.
All in all, I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

The only thing I didn't like about this setup was the belt attachment on the sheath, it holds the knife to high & tight to my body. I did a quick mod & made myself a dangler style leather loop & it rides a lot better...I'll get pics up later !

One of the few knives that both my wife Carol and I like

I actually bought her one for her very own

Very Underrated knife IMHO

I have often looked at Tops' blades and thought they looked bulletproof and perhaps a little over-the-top but that one looks really handy.
Have you gotten much time with it yet?

I like that alot, do tell us how it serves you

I hope you get a chance to test it out. Trying to decide between this model and another Tops knife.

So apparently it will make shavings? ;) Thinking about that one or the Mil-Spie 5. Would get both, but none of my internal organs are good enough to sell.

Yeah...it's awesome ! I started making a figure 4 with it & was gonna get pics but half way thru, there was a squirrel & the boys were all excited so I had to drop what I was doing & help'em out ! The TOPS B.O.B will be on my belt for a while !

It looks nice,is the blade a real scandi grind or is there a micro bevel? Did you try the ferro rod scraper notch?

Thanks for the link, watched several videos there, and I think I will get one. Now if I could make my mind up on a folder.

Thanks :)

Nice looking knife

The scandi grind
Is it zero grind, or micro bevel?

It has a micro bevel & yes I played with the ferro rod & notch & it does work just fine but not the most comfortable, I'de rather use my own scraper but it is a nice addition to the knife is a "Survival" type of situation it would be good. Here is a pretty good review video !

There ya go.

Tacticool and bushcraft mixed together is not my sort of thing, but I have heard once that coating has been chemically removed it battons much smoother through wood and the knife is actually pretty good although a bit over priced to import.
