Holy cow! That is sweet. I assume your son does this professionally???

My son plays video games, but the only thing he has produced so far is a worn out couch...:D

Thanks, I do crafts myself and often appreciate the tools as much as the finished products, enjoy your knife.

Jantz Supply has them and calls them a Knifemaker's Contour Vise. I do mostly fix blades and it is a bit small for what I make, but is nice for work on folders. Jantz price is $88.95.

One step ahead of you.I got my only 153UH ,out of 7,that is not a user laying on my desk.It goes in tomorrow's mail.Arnold

This is the finished knife.I think it came out great.Codger,I sent him the pictures.I hope you didn't plagerize those pictures.I would hate our new forum cop busting me for plagerizing someone. He might not like to hear what I think of self rightous people.Arnold

Man, that is some nice work. Stick that in your pocket so I can see it in Austin next week end.

Paul I wanted to ask you what to do about the sheath.I'm afraid the snap will scratch the N/S since it's so soft.Arnold

If it's LB7 or LB8 size, then I think it should be in an open top pouch sheath with not strap, flap, or snap of any kind. It will set deeply enough in the sheath so loss shouldn't be a factor at all. I'll have a few sheaths with me in Austin and we can try fit a few then and you can see what I mean. Even if it does need a flap, all my sheaths are fully lined so the snap could not make direct contact with any part of the knife.

I'm just going as a spectator and, of course, there will be many of my customers there so it's about 50/50 business and pleasure. Many of the guys there know me so just ask and someone will point me out.
