is my oldest khuk. I figure it is an 1850's piece, but I'd defer to the experts. The pitting isn't too deep, and the edge has seen no abuse like the avg. field knife or military issue khuk. Providence of this piece is relatively nil, as it came to me from Brazil, and went there from Britain. It is still very sharp, but shows no signs of being sharpened within the last 50+ years.
For a 16.5 inch khuk, it is amazingly light. From the bend of te khuk on, it is thinned out in a 'weaponized' fashion, unlike the mil khuk I got from AC (which is much more uniform in thickness along its length, and thicker overall)
