I think diamond stones would be useful initially. I'm considering them myself. Once you get them sharpened properly, I'd think you wouldn't have to do much but touch them up.

Reminds of sharpening an old Buck 110 with the steel that's notoriously hard to sharpen.

Cocobolo is definitely good looking. I think stag, bone and wood look great myself. Plastic will never be a proper substitute.

There is an interesting article in Tactical Knives (Sep. 2005) on that particular pattern of knife! There is a photo including both of those knives I beleive.
Definitely nice looking knives.

Very classy, I just wish this sort of thing was more poular in general instead of covert junk.

I read the article in TK this week, and went in AG Russell this afternoon looking for the Queen and Russell. They were out of the Queens, but have a Russell, and that thing fits my hand so well it is not even funny.

It seems to be just the perfect size. I love these knives.

Where can someone find the Queens at?

Can you bet a better price on the AG other than buying straight from the store?

Great looking knives.

Try Cumberland Knife Works for a great selection of Queen stuff. You are going to have get an A.G. Russell from him, at the store or in the catalog. As far as I know he doesn't sell through others. If that knife were offered elsewhere, there would be markup.

I have the following Mountain Man Knives: Schatt & Morgan File & Wire #04113L Series 3/Knife 1 in Goldenroot Bone, Queen Carved Stag Bone, Queen Classic Sambar Stag(Sold out in only days when it was introduced) and will soon have the Queen Classic Red Stag.
Thank you Bill Horn of cumberlandknifeworks.com for your quality and friendly service and most of all......keeping my addiction allive.
