Just got this in the mail today. My first regular sebenza. It has a BG-42 Flat Ground blade that was signed by Chris Reeve himself!
Undoubtedly one of the smoothest knives I have ever owned. I am really starting to like the looks of a regular!

Just thought I share.

Congrats on that one, thats a really great knife!

Thanks for the pics.

Congrats and a great knife! I would love to get my hands on a BG42 regular. The regular Sebenza's profile is where it's at.

Gotta love the Regulars:thumbup:

That ones all kinds of cool. Congratulations on a great score!

Ohhh, very nice! The more I look at the Regular, the more it grows on me too. Like Jwolf, I wonder if this is gonna be a user or a safequeen with that CR siggie on the blade. :D

I don't think I would be able to put this one through its paces...nor do I think it should because of the sig lol. Most likely be a safe queen.

Beautiful Knife! Looks BN! I would use it! It's a pain carrying two all the time. One to look sweet and the other to use. So I vote use it if its in your pocket!

Congrats on the sweet find!

Good answer, and what a great knife. I'd bet someone could trade that knife for two S30v user regulars. Flat ground, signed and BG42 that's (rare)[SUP]3[/SUP] It looks like it's in great shape too.

Although it has never been used/cut anything, it has a few minor Ti scuffs, but that is what I would expect from a knife that is over a decade old. The best part is that it came with a lot of CRK accessories too. (leather pouch, belt sheath, ti clip insert and screw)
Honestly, I am just relieved the package got here safely. I don't know about you guys but I tend to become really apprehensive when I have a valuable knife coming to me in the mail.

If you want to see any other pics, shout it out and I'll try to post it.

I could kick my own butt for selling the large and small regulars. Great knife!

Some nut job started a "Post your regs!" thread here in the CRK room. A lot of great pics in there, could use some of this fine specimen posted in it too...hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean?;)

Could I trouble you to take a picture of the paper describing the grind without the blade in the way? Curious to read it with the 25 coming with a near flat grind :)

Per your request...

I remember hearing that CRK was having trouble producing consistent, high quality, flat ground blades, so they decided it was not worth their time. This knife is part of the 130 knives that did make it through CRK's rigorous quality inspections/control.
