Check it out! It's my new Night Vision! I just love it. I don't post here very much, but I was so excited I had to show this off. I've read many reviews on the Vision knives and it has lived up to all the good that has been said. It is the absolute smoothest opening knife that I own, and that includes Emerson Knives and Benchmade.

The fit and finish on your SOG is nice, most definitely. Just look at the way the scales and the liners match up. Give it a semi-mirror buff and it could pretty much pass for custom work.

Typical SOG quality. :thumbup:

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I love this knife. I love it so much, that the thought has crossed my mind to get one with titanium handles since I like titanium so much. Maybe sometime in the future... Heck, if those new Tomcat 3.0's are anything like this, meybe I'll need one of those, too.
 
Don't do it, stop now...... :o ....I first got the NV.........then the Vision with TI handles.

The Vision is just so nice I could not carry it. :(

Now, if Spencer would switch to ATS-34 from AUS 8

Why stop at folders? I can think of a certain double-edged fixed blade I'd like to see in ATS-34. :)

For that matter, imagine a SEAL 2000 or a Tigershark in ATS-34 with a black TiN coating. Gives you the shivers, doesn't it?

Wow that's cool. Just by coincidence I handled one of these today in a knife shop and was very impressed. I agree that it's smoother opening than an Emerson or a Benchmade. I wasn't aware these had been discontinued. Maybe I'll head back there tomorrow and snatch this one up.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I do have one complaint about the knife though... I like it so much that it keeps finding it's way into my pocket, rather than any of my other knives!
 
Great Knife!

I got the Ti version a couple months ago. Jezz, its impressive. Before it, i thought my Benchmade 710 was the knife to judge production folders by--now its the SOG.

I carry it when I will be around friends that don't scare easily.
