You think you know someone? Come to find out, a co-worker of mine's dad, has a forge and loves to create knives. Who knew? Well, I gave him some old files my dad had when he passed and he asked if he could build me one? I said sure. He actually used a piece of Aldos 5160! She's 1/4" thick. I had a few suggestions but basically I let his creative juices flow. The stag has stacked leather on top and some copper or brass in there? He did some scrimshaw work on the stag. He turned the antler just right so it feels great in your hand. The sheath is elk with real sinew that he produces.

What are your thoughts? I'll never part with her.
