Coppered Damascus blade with red deer stag handle and a mix of polished leather and acetate for the bolster, with a pommel also in coppered damascus.

Still no sheath

This is one of the blade I first experimented with coppering processes, that I cleaned and coppered it again with the better galvanic process I use now.

Regards,

Ariel

Very, nice job there. I have admired your damascus work, and it really fits well with the horn handle you have chosen here.

Also, the blade shape with the South American influence is great.

Thanks for the remarks :)

I forgot to add the measures before, they are 5.5" for the blade with a 10.5" overall lenght.

I didn't forget about the bowie Keith, just had other things to prepare right now, but I'll make it :)

Regards,

Ariel

I'm not familiar with the coppering process, but that looks very impressive. Nice damascus, made even more spectacular by the integral bolster. Thanks for the look. Jason.

Ariel, you are welcome.

I was fascinated with your knife and I found myslef scrolling up and down looking at the different angles. So I combined a couple of them in Photoshop. I'm glad you liked the composition.

Great piece! I'd love to hear more about that Coppering process if you ever have the time....gorgeous work..., thanks!

That is a beautiful knife. A very strong design, but elegant and subtle coloring.

I imagine AES are your initials. Is it a coincidence that "aes" is also the Latin word for 'copper', which you added in so well?

It's an even better coincidence in a way, because copper (or brass or bronze) was also a Latin term for cash.

That's very interesting... Tomorrow the knife show starts and I really hope I can make some nice sells to honor my initials :D
