That looks interesting!
What exactly will your testing include? Will it be the same procedure like when you compared the Spyderco Manix 2 to the Benchmade Griptilian?

btw. did you get a response from Spyderco about why the lock failed? Because I never heard anything about that anymore:)

Yes it will be the same, here is the playlist of all the knives tested sofar, that's 11 folders tested.

There was a small problem that Spyderco fixed so the Manix 2 is good to go.

I will test these two this week.

This will be interesting to see the results, but my money would be on the Buck having better edge retention and sharpness capabilities. I bought a 440C Smith & Wesson knife because it was super cheap on sale at Big 5, and I immediately noticed that the factory edge geometry was good (less than 15 degrees per side and under .020" at the shoulder of the edge) but it really burred badly. You have to be really light with your sharpening strokes on this knife or else a burred edge will be your result. When it was Rockwell tested and came in at 54 RC it was no shock, as that really explained why that steel is so gummy and burr prone.

Not really worried about that. :D

This is going to be the hard use testing to see how they hold up. :)

Both knives are in the trash now. ;)

The S&W didn't do too bad, but it loosed up very bad and couldn't be tightened back up and the screws were so soft they just stripped right out.

The Buck, same as above.

The blades held up of both and so did the locks.

Videos will be up later.

I love the subtlety and detail of the camo on the Ghost Rider, almost missed it at first glance

I had that s&w amd let me tell you that it is the worst knife i have ever owned. First of all it came super dull and it is heavy as a F#@$%*# rock!
