Lord willing and the water don't rise, my next blade is going to be forged today! The heat-treat, grinding, polishing, fitting with scales, and sheathmaking - well, everything else will happen when they happen, but the steel will receive its first beating today and that makes me very happy.

Fear not! I may be months late, but I always fill my orders. :o :)

Thom, I'll be forging another blade tomorrow morning, then I'll have an oven full, and will thermal cycle them all. I like to make knives in batches of 4, since that's how many my oven rack holds....

Months late? You're ahead of the delivery time you quoted me (knock on wood or black canvass micarta).

Really? Early?! Maybe I shouldn't be working on yours... :D
Just kidding. I am finally starting to get caught up, so I'm probably not actually months behind anymore.

I've got be on guard more. I remember you offered to raise your price when I told you an event made buying this knife much easier on my checkbook. :o

Don't worry, I would never change a price from what I originally quote, unless, of course, the customer changes the order.
