i bought a para 2 as my first and only spyderco and my second "nice" blade (first was a 551 grip, spyderco raised the bar significantly :) ). I am in the market for a new spydie and I would love some input. I am leaning between the....

MILITARY black g10 satin blade
SAGE 1 CF Linerlock
MANIX 2 LIGHTWEIGHT blue or black frcp
ENDURA 4 FFG ??color??

thanks for helping further my addiction :)

spydie on!

Never had a Military, the PM2 is my current favorite, just edging out my Sage.
The Sage is really light, but strong, and much more low key than the PM2.
The only Manix2 I had was an LE. Jimping was too sharp, and the ball lock too stiff.
Never had an Endura, love the Delica though. Nice little knife, but not in the
same league as the Sage or PM2.

so its either millie or sage decisions decisions

so both when i get the cash :)

ill probably get the sage first

sage 1... it is an amazing knife, also really classy looking. Really good for formal stuff!

Can't really go wrong, sounds like you're headed in the right direction. Of those it'd be a toss up between the Military and Sage. I'd probably start with the Sage personally though the recent write-up by Ankerson has me liking the Military even more.

If you're okay with a four-inch folder, the Millie is the way to go -- I love mine. However, my Manix 2 is a bulldog...smaller than the Military but it's a perfect edc blade. Again, I love my Military but I am okay with a four-inch folder as an edc blade, and a lot of folks think that's just too big. So, it depends on what you really want. From your list, it's the Manix 2 unless you don't mind a larger blade for edc.

The Yojimbo2 is my favorite Spyderco to date. Awesome Wharncliffe blade , S30V , Compression Lock , great weight , super handsome looking all around.

I ...LOVE ...IT !!!

It's just a little difficult to find.

Might want to consider the regular Manix2 as well. It's a dandy of a knife, especially now that it is in S30V.

I love my Sage I. Despite just getting the Southard and Super Blue, and having just ordered a Para 2, I don't see anything knocking that knife out of my pocket rotation. Its thin, light, classy looking, has fantastic fit and finish, quality steel, and has a big enough handle for comfortable use. It locks up solidly, deploys easily, and slices like a laser. IMHO you can't go wrong with the Sage.
