I could use some suggestions.

I have a Sage1, which I love. I also have a g-10 UKPK which is very nice and gets used when I don't want to worry about knife laws. I had a Sage2, but couldn't warm-up to it for whatever reason, and sold it.

Does Spyderco make any other frame locks besides the Sage2?

Should I try one of the lockbacks?

I don't like huge folders.

In addition to the great cutting performance, the things I like best about the Sage1 are the ease of deployment and its good looks.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My recommended framelock would be the Chokwe. It is also the easiest/fastest opening Spyderco I own. As far as looks go, you either like it or not like it. This is one knife that has to be handled to truly know if you're going to like it though.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

I really like the look of the Native 5.

The reason I'm looking for another Spydie is that I've decided to give my Sage 1 to my son 'cause it's his favorite knife.

So what happened is I decided to treat myself to a small Sebenza as a replacement. I got it today, and it's not really making me say "Wow, why did I wait so long to pull the trigger?" It's o.k., but for my ergo preferences, it doesn't feel as good as the Sage 1. I knew I loved the Sage 1 the very first time I opened it. I might hold on to the Sebbie, and see if it grows on me, but if I don't at least they hold their value.

I just picked up a Des Horn, should be here Wednesday. I love Wharncliffe blades. :D

I just picked up a NIB Native 5 and a NIB Para military 2 for good prices on the exchanges.:D

I'll figure out which one I like best and probably keep them both.

Thanks for the suggestions.
