Wanted to know what you guys thought about this new style Kodzuka. Full tang forged 1095 from a old file, full tapered tang, 5inch blade, clay-back quench, ko-notare hamon, 416 SS bolsters with star carvings, slabs are stabilised Mallee Root Burl with contouring for added grip and to simulate the wrapped handle variety (a bit). Patterned sheath (drawn on). Comments and advice appreciated. Thanks. Jason.

Got no advice as to how I would improve on this one, because I think it is great just the way it is. There is nothing I can find that I don't like about it.

Likes:

1) that cool contoured wood handle;
2) carved accents on the polished steel bolster;
3) nice hamon;
4) that cool contoured wood handle :)
5) overall lines, profile and blade-to-handle proportions;
6) nicely detailed sheath;
7) that..cool.. contoured... okay, you get that I like the handle.

Dislikes:

1) Zip.
2) Zero.
3) Zilch.

Cheers,

Roger

PS - I checked your web-site and converted the Aussie dollars - that's quite a lotta knife for notta lotta dough.

Certainly not much to suggest there...lol :)

I really like the sculpted handle.., gorgeous touch to a classy knife!
