Nice bro. I ended up selling my CGFBM and my FFBM, but I kept my NMFBM. The NMFBM just felt alot more comfortable. Mine looks a lot like yours now. Glad your beating her like she deserves.

I was going to keep my NMFBM as a safe-queen... but the more I handled it the more I felt that it was unfair to deprive this beast of its destiny... So now i beat her.

Great looking knife!
Have you used the other models, FFBMwith the CBTor the FFFBM?
Wondering how they compared to you?

I'm stoked to put my nmfbm to use. I have to save up and buy a sheath from Mashedcat, but look forward to lettin loose with her!

It's great to see someone put their knife through the paces...looks better than new with the worn coating and all.

Well its been awhile since I had a FFBM but I really like this one. The handles are hand shaped mags which feels just right to me. The NM are thinner and yet she swings with real authority :)

I have another - still keeping her as I got her (Bama Clay) but this one has been fun and she really knows how to CHOP!

The NMFBM is great. I have one exactly like yours - black coat on black micarta. Quite blade heavy, and chops like it was starving and prefers to eat wood. :D

And then my usual question: how thick is that NMFBM of yours? Mine is way thinner than .250", and unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of testing one of the thicker NMFBMs (some, I understand, are well over .250" thick). Would be interesting to know how those really thick NMFBMs feel in hand and use. I might have to try and acquire one of those in the future. :) The one I have, which is one of the "thin" ones, is lighter than an FFBM but much more blade heavy, and it really chops.
