I don’t remember when I got my first BK2, probably 6 or 7 years ago. It spent the first few years of its life doing all the typical camping chores, wood processing, shelter building etc.
However for the last several years it’s become a permanent resident among the tools on my workbench. When I first started making knives I used my bk2 to practise handle making so she ended up with some permanent green G10 scales and some badly misaligned pins. Then her luxurious life took a nose dive and she’s since been used and abused in every way imaginable. I’ve batoned through steel and other metals , I’ve smashed it into the concrete floor, it’s spent months buried outside amongst a pile of scrap leaf springs. It’s been chipped and sharpened more times than I can count and she still gets used almost everyday. I just got done cutting up some old sanding belts with it. My most used knife by far
