In my search for the ever better stone I've put together another set of premium waterstones. These Nubatama stones are rather new to the US market and with their vast selection its sometimes difficult to decide which ones to pick. Hopefully this makes it a bit easier. Enjoy!

I peekd into the videos late last night but will have to really watch them and focus. Thanks for sharing this information. I really find those reviewes very helpful and important. You may have mentioned it in the video but where do you put those stones compared to Naniwa Chosera (or what is with those new Naniwa pro stones?) and/or Shapton pro?

Thanks again Jason!

In the video I compare it to a Naniwa Chosera, its very hard like a Chosera but has a bit of the scratchy feel of a Shapton pro. Overall a very good stone that yields a very sharp edge.

Naniwa Chosera stones have been discontinued and replaced by Naniwa Professional stones. Same stones but with a new name. Said to have a better formulation, we'll see, I have a 400 on the way :D

Good videos Jason. Going slightly coarser makes sense when your looking for more speed.

The 150 is a real pleasure to use. I am going to pick up the 1k and the 4k for sure now.
