My NXT sticks

My NXT action is stiff even when the pivot screw is loosened. When I compare it to my Odyssey and Whittaker Approach, I notice that there are two copper washers on each side of the blade, but my NXT only has one. Am I missing a washer? The NXT was bought out of town, so I cannot compare it to others.
 
I just checked one of my 2 NXT's.
One bronze washer, on the liner side; the other side is no washer.

Both my NXT's are quite smooth. No problem there.
Same with my Odysseys.
But, maybe you got a less-than-good one, it happens sometimes.
Either play with it and try to get it right, either by lubrication or adjustment or working it in, or send it into Buck.

But, the one washer on the liner side on the NXT is right.
