I don't give a care about electronic doodads. I know people that have to have the newest phone/tablet/laptop etc. My macbook is 6 years old. My wife thinks that's embarrassing, she wouldn't take it to work because she didn't want her co-workers to see it. (Her works power is out from the storm). I'm not saying there's anything wrong w/wanting new electronic stuff, but I don't need it and don't care, my old flip phone does the job I need it too. I like to spend money on knives which is not exactly practical. I certainly don't need 150 pocket knives. If she knew what I paid for some of them she'd go bananas. I also love leather jackets, I spend more than I should on those. I love boots, yes boots! I've got many pairs of boots. I like Keen, Timberland, Columbia, Doc Martens I only have 1 pair of feet so this also is not practical. I love guns and have too many of those too. I love tools, I've got more tools than most professional contractors I think, and I do actually use them. The little lady doesn't complain about that since I made her some sweet built in cabinets and an Armoire for all her junk, (clothes shoes, belts, bras, bags....). The point of all this, none really just putting it out there, mostly for myself, O like to write about my stuff too, she calls my stuff "My Precious" Lord of the rings reference. I love my Precious, I take them out of the safe and hold them and pet them, I cut paper and sharpen them. I love the sound a really sharp knife makes when cutting paper, it's so soothing to me. This forum affirms that I'm not crazy, nor alone, there are tons of guys out there just like me, knives, boots, leather jackets, tools and all.
