My Odyssey II

I bought an Odyssey II (model 186, plain edge, 420HC blade) for an amazing $17.50. Wow. It took a wicked edge and locks up solid. I'm disappointed that it was never made in ATS-34 as a plain edged knife, but this one is a great user. Too bad it was discontinued...

That is a nice catch, JN. I really like the looks of the Odyssey and am sorry that i missed the boat on that model. Yes, ATS-34 or S30V would be very nice on that knife. :thumbup:

There are some with ATS-34 and a plain edge. They are marked 181. They are also made with G-10 ATS-34 combo edge is the only way I have seen them. They are marked 182. The 182 was also made with carbonfiber. Watch the bay for them they are on there from time to time. I watched for my plane edged 181 for over a year.

Thanks for that info, Presz. I didn't know that knife came in those variations and now I have yet more 'Grail' knives to look for.
