those scales look sweet...do you have a link to their website or contact info? How long was the turn around time? how does the width feel compared to the stocks?

I have Saint Cutlery micarta on my 7 and love it!
Honestly, I want to get a shorty just so I can put these slabs on it.
Twisted and deranged? Maybe, but its the truth! Love those slabs!

I can't post contact info as I'm not sure if he is a bladeforums member. the feel a little wider but fit the stock sheath and took about a week to ship

woops forgot about the rules....thanks for the other responses they are definitely tempting...

Those scales look mighty fine on that 16 (which I'm surprised to see hasn't been stripped and "cliched" yet....)

Makes it a whole new knife I love it on mine, gives it a much better feel for most people. The slabs are a little thicker and just feel better. Not a huge fan of that stitching job though, that is why I hand stitch everything.

Yet but what can you expect from a $15 universal pocket sheath lol

Those are on my short list of stuff I want...I do want to do a custom handle job on the BK16 though, I think bamboo would look sweet.

Mmmm.... Daddy likey!! :D

I guess that's one more thing I can put on my father'sday wish list.

Not to crap in your corn flakes or anything man, that's not my style.I've been meaning to do a review of these for awhile now. I bought up a set of his g10 orange & black a couple weeks ago, i really wanted to like them but they were too triangular shaped in the hand, wider at the rear and tapered down to darn near nothin' at the front. I thought about sending them back but instead I added a white liner and reprofiled them to more of a stock zytel + dvd case liner feel. They'll get the job done now, I should say I have good sized hands with long fingers so everyone is gonna have a different fit. I had to do a lot of sanding on them just to get them to feel almost as good as the liner plus zytel.

I split up all this wood with these handles on so I feel like I gave them a chance. These pics are before I started working on them. and yes that kydex has been Ogre stomped.

Fal'er, you can bring out the color of the G-10 if you want by spraying WD-40 on it and then washing it with dish soap if you want.

I'll keep that in mind. Those pics are right after cutting, chopping, slicing and battoning so they wouldn't be as sharp and crisp.

I have some of the olive drab micarta on a 16, and you just articulated my exact take on them. I too plan to add liners and then sand down the top (thicker) side.

I think that micarta looks great. First time I saw them on here it was on somebody's BK15. I recall that he had to sand them some. How is the fit on yours?

I have Saint scales on my 11 and they are great, so I'll certainly have to consider them for the 16 that arrived a couple of hours ago. :)

My cornflakes taste funny. no I know what you mean they are a bit thin at the bottom and wide up top.
