I’ve had this a few years and I really love it. The size and weight make it excellent for a secondary knife when I go hunting. I’ve not used it on game yet, but I’ve used it to cut offending briars and weeds while ground hunting. I only wish it had a pocket clip, course then I couldn’t share it here. I mostly carry it in my coat pocket or pack when hunting. It feels right to take it afield.

How long have you had that Buck? I'm curious because I had one similar if not the same roughly 20 or more years ago. I remember it opening like a friction folder. Used it to field dress 7 or 8 deer over the course of about 10 years. I'll have to look through some old gear to see if I can find it.

Man that one brings up some memories. I forgot all about it. I had one that was either exactly the same of very similar in the late 1990s. Pretty sure it came from the PX. I don't know what happened to it.

You can add a pocket clip in those Valox handles by installing #2X56TPI HeliCoils in the plastic.View attachment 2116705

I have had it only about 6 years. I got it used and abused. I returned it to buck for a new blade. It has a 110 blade now.
