My old Endura cleaned up surprisingly well (new aluminum scales)

After an excited wait, the new scales for my Endura and PM2 arrived in the post yesterday. They're top-notch quality that is easily the equal of the factory scales fit and finish but with more style, vivid colours from the anodizing, and excellent detail. My beater Endura had been put through its paces over the years and only saw some limited carry these days clipped on my riding gear. After seeing how the old beast cleaned up though, its going back into my regular rotation; it just looks like a whole new knife.

Very nice Torm! I'm loving the colours on both; they're much nicer looking than stock scales.

Wow! Those look amazing. Even better on a ZDP version. But the Endura Wave still is cool.

Congratulations on those, they look very well machined.

Those scales are awesome, are they grippy or slippery?

Surprisingly grippy with the etching actually. They don't have quite the traction of G10 or micarta but, for general folder uses, the patterns provide more than enough traction.
