Here's where I used to fish when I lived in Nepal. If you can see the white arrow across the lake by the big tree that was my spot. There was shade there and fish and I both liked it. However, I'm sorry to report that my failures outweighed my successes and I often ended up buying fish from local fishermen who were more adept at catching fish than me.
In the center background you can see Mt. Machapuchare (fishtail) at about 7000 meters. It is the smallest of any of the neighboring peaks but looks taller because it is closer to the camera. The other peaks are the Annapurna peaks which range from Annapurna 1 at 8091 meteres to Annapurna South at 7219 meters.
What has this to do with khukuris? The fish were butchered with a khukuri.
