On old man who lived next to my in laws passed away last night. He was 70 yrs old, and was a good friend. He went to my kids birthday parties when he wouldn't go to his own grandkids parties for family political reasons. I am feeling very sad tonight. I just saw with him on wednesday night and he was joking around with me like he didn't have a care in the world. He had a massive heart attack on Friday night and I barely found out tonight. Man.. you just never know when your last day on this earth will be. Kinda puts life into a different perspective. Anyways, enjoy those who are close because you just never know.

I too am sorry to hear the bad news. It does make ya think doesnt it? I lost my friend and neighbor in August and still look that way every time I come out of my house. He gave his heart to Jesus several years ago and I believe he is walking on streets of gold right now.

You gave him your friendship, and a second family to love.

And now he's moved on, and you mourn him.

I think you must be a fine fellow, yourself. I hope your holidays will be joyous, despite his leaving.

Remember, you made his life better while he was here. :)

I am sorry to hear as well. I had a friend down the road from me who pass away just 2 weeks ago and I know how you feel.

It does make you stop and think. I know I to easily get caught up in this or that and my own little set of problems and to quickly forget what others are going through. This time of year always helps me to slow down a little and look around and to just be thankfull for all the good things and the many blessing I have in my life. You must have been a pretty good friend to him, for you to stop and make a posting like this. May God grant you many more blessing his year. Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the kind words guys. My friend was layed to rest this afternoon. It was sad but at the same time I believe he is in a better place. Thanks again.
