My Old Hickory Mod

I'd like to thank Ontario for making the Old Hickory, a knife of great utility and value. I purchased an 8" slicer and I modded it to be a 4.5" bushcraft/camp knife. I used only hand tools. It was a lot of fun! Post up your mods if you got 'em!

Thanks! One thing about not using power tools is you don't have to worry about ruining the temper.

I re-shaped the handle for more control during carving. After kitchen duty, a nice patina is forming.
