I inherited this Morseth from an Uncle years ago.
He purchased it circa 1970, and he kept it as a collectors item, it was mint, never used when I got it, along about 1980.
That changed pretty quickly!
I have many hours of using and carrying this blade, it has gutted and skun many deer, and served well as a camp knife too. More than a bit of its use came in the kitchen as well.
Shows plenty of wear now(as do I!) but is still solid as can be. The plastic-type liner in the sheath has crackedd, but thats all. Sheath stiching is still perfect, and the original sharpening stone is still in place.
I have often thought of "retiring", but somehow tha just does not seem right.
I do indeed love this knife!
