I was wondering what to do with my old wards peanut that had a broken blade from when i was younger and the secondary blade was almost sharpened into non existance, so i looked through some boxes and came up with a cheap 2 blade folder with sort of similar sized blades and tore it apart and put the blades in the peanut, not the best fit but i think i'll take it back apart and file the blades to shape and fix it up real nice, here are the pics so far, i'll post the final result when its done, let me know what you think!, oh and i dont know much about the wards peanut i have did i ruin something good, is it a colectable knife or special in any way, ive had it for longer than i can remember. cheers!

not too shabby, dont know much about the Wards Peanut, maybe the people in the traditional forum would have more information

To get a thread moved, click the triangle with the exclamation point in it at the bottom left of your post. That is the "report post" button. You can ask one of the Mods of this sub-forum to move your thread to another Forum.

I will add that you did not ruin anything. Once the blades are that used, there is no collector value in the knife.

Lots of peanut fans in Traditional. You should definitely visit there.

Grind down the 'kicks' , bottom corner of tang, a little to get blade points below blade well edge. Go slow and be careful.
