A simple folder that is very versatile for lighter wood-crafting. This knife has been whit me through thick and thin but has now finally ended up as a part of my fishing gear.

thanks for sharing. i've always had a love for those eka folders. kinda hard to find all the models here in the states, but i own a swede 8 and 10....great lockback folders. always wanted a 60 and a 92. watching you work with that 60 makes me want one even more now.

Tanks! The lock release button on the 60 is kind of protruding when batoning but the knife was probobly not design fore this task. I have only used it for this when there was no other option. On thing that is not mentioned in the video is that the 60 can be opened one handed but its tricky and takes 15s.

Yeah, that lock release tab has always made me back away from buying one.

I wound up with the Swede 92 and 82, which have the lock release all the way at the tail.

Maybe I should find myself a 60 just so I can determine for myself if that tab is really a nuisance.

If the quality I have found in the 82/92 is also represented in the 60, then it would certainly be a knife worth having.

I had one of the older Normark branded knives with that lock release, it's the only knife I've ver used that folded on me. But I was using it improperly so I took the cut in a humble way.
