Hello guys, I just got off the phone with Cold Steel's customer service people. I called them about a camo hat that I ordered about a month ago that never arrived. I initially emailed them and they replied stating that my item was delivered on the nov. 6th.
I finally got around to calling them today. I spoke with a very nice woman and she gladly told me that she was shipping out another one today! I know it's a cheaper item than let's say an SRk. So maybe that's why they were so easy to say yes to ship another one? Either way I had a great experience with their customer service! I've heard many mixed reviews of their customer service. Just letting y'all know what happened to me.

Nice that they will send a replacement. Do you think somebody took the first delivery off your porch?
No, I live in an apartment complex. I'm on the second level (top floor) and I've had hundreds of packages delivered and never had an issue. Occasionally my neighbors get my package or vice versa. We always make sure that we look after one another. We're on a first name bases (spell check) and we've all been here a minimum of 3 years. We take care of each other to the point where if a neighbors box is getting rained on one of us grabs it and leaves a note.
I was kidding with the CS rep that a 150$ knife will show up no troubles asked but a 20$ hat is when I have a problem! I had a very positive experience today with Cold Steel!

My one experience with customer service involved sending back a dinky little tanto Voyager that had a plastic clip molded onto the handle. I snagged it on a doorway and snapped it off like a dried chicken bone. I sent it back to Cold Steel with a note about what had happened and they immediately shipped back a dinky little clip point Voyager, which I still have have and enjoy. Upon first opening the box, I was disappointed that it was not a tanto, but at that size, the tanto was ultimately smaller than I preferred. Oh, and the clip was a metal one, screwed on.

My experience with them was interesting.

But it ended good.

I don't blame companies for being careful these days, so many scammers, and I do not mean you buddy. I am in an apt. also. Our regular letter carrier was out on a heart attack or something, and it seemed that every day there was a new face. I had to put in a claim on a not received Leatherman super 300. I got another sent a month later after all the protocols were exhausted. I also had some paperbacks sent. While I was talking to the carrier du jour I noticed a pouch in a box below mine. The carrier pulled it out, and I had my books. It happens. I also had a lazy courier driver leave a package in the foyer of the building. I had to put in a claim on that one also, to get my items. Not bad though overall when the letter carrier was the regular dude. I got a ton of junk off the big river. Nice that C.S. popped you another hat though.
