This little guy was my grandpa's.My grandpa had spent a lifetime hunting fishing, etc a real outdoorsy type until a stroke robbed him of most of his moblilty in the late 70's, but he was a tough SOB and fought on till the mid 1980's. Anyway a few years ago i was given a little bill box with a wonderful assortment of pocket knives (utica, dunlap, imperial, colonial, etc) some really nice, some obvious beaters but all were used except for this little one which i suspect was acquired when he wasnt getting around so well. Anyway its my first post in the schrade forum thought i'd share. Wondering what info if any was to be had on this little schrade.
Now hopefully nobody's gonna tell me its newer, cause that would mean i got another knife nut in the family and somebody needs to fess up :D
Knife looks almost new and walks and talks with authority, its a little small for me but love it nonetheless:thumbup:
thanks
ivan

Ivan welcome to the schrade forum and glad you stopped by to share your story I love to hear stories like that. Thoes imperials that you mentioned in the box are welcome here as well, " Imperial Schrade". Anyway your 807 uh jr stockman (2 3/4 inch) Was made from 1985-2004. Hope this helps. if ya get time we'd like to see some of the others that were in the box too.

That's a nice one Ivan. Nice picture too. Glad you brung it over.

I like those kinds of stories. I'vd got about 5 of my dads knives, and one of his dads too. My kids will get to split up a bunch of them some day.

:thumbup:Ivan, sure is great to hear of other folks with knives belonging to family, when I get my paw's knife out it sure brings back great memories:) just today had the roll out and looking as well as holding some family heirlooms in my hands ain't nothin like it!!!

Welcome to the Schrade forum and come enjoy with the rest of us Schradeaholics:D.

hopefully i'll be adding to my schrade collection one day. I'm a camillus guy so i feel at home with you schrade people:D The timeline makes sense since this knife was basically unused, I know that family members gifted him a few knives over the years and probably did up until his death. Anyway im gonna get around to shooting the other treasures soon:) Nothing terribly fancy but treasures none the less!
Thanks again
ivan
