Hey lads,

I have created this online document so that we have a good source to compare our axes.
one problem that arises when you share pictures of tools is that you can see the shape but you can only guess at all the other dimensions.

in this document, the mass, cutting length, length and blade thickness are entered at different measuring points.
We can enter as much information as we want.
e.g. impact weight at certain speeds, impact weight per mm of cutting width, cutting width per kg of weight, speed to reach a certain impact weight,... there are no limits.

if you are interested, just have a look and add as much as you like.
entering your name and forum is optional.

Be sure to look into the other Tables aswell; there is more than 1!

Just ask if there are problems! :)

Is anybody able to make any kind of sense of this Axtvermessungen/Axe measurements docu.? The concept of broad comparisons could be interesting but the formats narrow accessibility is a problem. For example, is it so that to add your information it is necessary to have a google account?

Im adding a new Table in the Document with Axe Patterns from world wide! Primarly american and european, which most interest me.

I see you wanted to add your Grubenhacke, could you add a Picture and additional Information of your Axe to the Document?
I will help with formatting or questions that you have.

This is the photo. I'm not able to add any other information since I have no knowledge of the system.

Oh, ok now i understand you. Tomorrow i will add a clear description on how to measure the Axe correctly. (Its late)
Do you have any clue who made this Axe and its Mass, i guess you are from Fance, maybe close to german speaking Regions judging from your Name, the Axe Name (Grubenhacke) and its Form?

And then please describe how to enter data to your spreadsheet. It's really what I've been getting at.
The axe has the stamp of Stubai. I have it from a colleague in France but I don't know more of its origin.
I am in Holland.
This is my source for identifying this axe. I think you know it.
