I bought a Wave and a Charge and had several Gerber multi-tools and this one I found today has to be the funniest. Leatherman Flair, it's made for opening bottles and spreading patte. The olive fork is what sold me though. Also capable of tightening and loosening screws, cutting wire, etc. I think at the next party I have I'm going to use it. It makes me want to start drinking again. James

I'd like to see a limited edition version of the Leatherman Flair with a Damascus pâté spreader and cocktail fork. ;) Seriously though, I keep a Leatherman Flair in my kitchen... just in case! :)

I bought a NIB one a few years ago but quickly sold it because the tools didn't lock and I thought the corkscrew/fork/spreader was gimmicky.

Seeing these pictures really makes me regret selling it. :(

I think of it as definitely a novelty piece. I mean really, are women going to think of you as refined and thoughtful if you serve them a drink and spread them a cracker with a multi-tool used for emergency picnics? Well I guess it depends on the woman.:D

if she does, HANDS OFF; SHE'S MINE!

people like their Flairs! I've seen Alton Brown on the show "Good Eats" use one, it has appeal (and can peal) and like they said, it's novel.
