Hi IG,
Thanks for the welcome.Just pounding steel, stitchin' leather and watchin' the snow [yuck!].Trying to keep gas in the car and food on the table. No makers in my neck of the woods so I seek acceptance in 'puterland!

Thanks for the invite,IG. Anybody have plans for a hammer-in in the northeast for '07? Would like to attend one within a reasonable driving distance. We need to promote and share our abilities up here in the land of trees and snow!

Where in Northern NY? I spent 4 years at Fort Drum looking for knifemakers, never found one in that area. I'm in GA now, but hoping to return to Drum sometime in the next few years.

Hi Whit,I'm about 2 hours north of Drum.Any farther, you'd be in Canada.Makers are very hard to find up here, very few to be found. If you get back up this way, you're always welcome at my coffee pot!!

We ( Southern New England Knifemakes Guild) will be having a major one in the spring 30 to 40 people and we will have Mini ones during the coures of the year as soon as it warms up (above 50). :D
They are held down here at my shop in New Bedford, Ma.

Thanks for the info.Quite a trip from the great white north but I've done worse![14hrs to a car show].Please keep us posted when you have an idea of dates.Look forward to hangin' out with others with this disease!

You got it Bro;) ;) I know what you mean. I did a day trip to up state NY to pickup cams and sleeves (NOS) for my 1947 Indian Chief.
PS: It turned into a night trip too. HEHEHEHEHE!!!
