Hi,

After two long weeks waiting, I have just received my 7 inch Camillus OVB, bought at bestknives.com (thanks, Mike ;) )

The knife came in a black box, like the ones good champagne comes, too, and inside, a black zippered case with the knife. Under the case there are the sheat and documentation.

Well, it's one of the finest production knives I've ever seen. The handle (desert Ironwood) is beautiful, much much more than I thougt it was, by pictures.

Mine is serial number 062. I belive only 500 were made.

The edge is very well made, and came shaving sharp. :)

The sheat is not so great. Not the model, but the finish. It looks like cheap leather and do not match the knife at all.

But that's it...

Just wanted to share my happiness !!!

Regards,

Andre Tiba - Brazil

I have all the OVB's at this point, I am going to get a good pic of the three together and will post! Paul

Yeah, YOU are nuts.
Okay, there's 2 maple 7" and 11"
and there's one Des. Ironwood,
and one
Amboyna handle.
I don't know which size is which.
Do a search on eBay,
you'll be all set.

I just noticed something funny, in the brochure there's a pic of the Amboyna wood 7" model, and underneath it says under that it constructed using Fiddleback Maple wood. OOPS :p

I don't know about you guys but I have 6 OVB Bowies.
