As mentioned earlier my new Bilton arrived this morning and what a little beauty it is. No changes needed that I can see. I find if I put the end between my pinky and ring finger it gives me a perfect secure grip. In a perfect world a tad more handle would be nice but it's sweet as can be.

A few eye candy pictures for anyone sitting on the fence thinking about getting one.

The last picture isn't showing my thumb sliced to doll rags, I was just keeping it out of the way so you could see hand position. It's actually the cold weather around here interacting with my pushing wheelchair tires everywhere I go. Real men don't wear gloves ya know.

Thank you Yangdu and HI, I love this thing immensely. Now for my next one hmmm....................................

Guess I could have cleaned the bench off a little better. Also should have put a picture of it's big brother, oh well, next time.

Congratulations on your new knife. It sounds like you are really happy with it. And great pictures too. Yeah, you should clean up the bench. You need more room for the next khukuris.

nice picture of the knife --- nice bench too i noticed a nice picture of a girl in a bathing suit -- was that intended -- ?

I i have thought of getting a Bilton but thanks to your pictures i think i will have to pass. I think my hands are probably to big -- i see it looks like it might be a little bit small in your grip how does it feel in your hand ? Do you get a comfortable/good grip on it ?

Actually my first thought was too small also but it actually feel pretty good. With 3 fingers on and the pinky on the end it's stable. A little more grip would be nice but it's proportioned nice.

That girl is Mrs. Bawanna in an earlier life, that picture has been there for years. Like anything else that doesn't move for years and years I sometimes forget it's even there. It's almost become a proof of origin for many of my posted pictures. I should probably just move it someplace else but I sometimes pause to uncross my eyes checkering or working on other stuff and it is kind of nice to look at.

Even as a novelty conversation piece I think the Bilton is a winner. I'm gonna try to make a kydex sheath for it too. Make a nice belt knife I think.

Nice - looks just right for the small job or a piece to accompany you on your rounds. You are tough - I have to have gloves for my winter travels.

Not as tough as I used to be. Been doggone chilly around here of late. I was in your neck of the woods Cody a few years back in summer. Talked with a lot of locals about the winter there as I'd sometime like to move there, you folks got winters.
I expect gloves would be a mandatory thing in those parts, here too right now, dang chilly.

Mrs. Bawanna

I was thinking the same thing. This man appears to have a small workstation, a weapon, and a hot wife. Maybe it's just Hollywood digging it's claws into my brain, but I'd say he's got the makings of an action hero.

If only I could think of an easy way to carry a Bilton IWB...

I might be working on that a little this afternoon. I'll report back if I come up with a viable solution.

I make pistol grips and some stock work etc as a hobby, my little bench gets a pretty good workout. Also a couple reloading presses and tools etc.

Action hero? I got a good chuckle out of that. Thanks for that.

Have you had a chance to use it yet? I think my hand is about the same size as yours and I usually need at least a 4" handle to be comfortable. How is the short handle working out?

I've been fondling it a lot and it made short work of opening the mail a couple days but haven't put it to any meaningful purpose yet.

A bit more handle would be nice but it's really not all that bad. I'll put it to use and see how she works out.

I've been wanting one of these for a long time, but I'm always too late. The handles does look a bit small but the blade looks so cool.
