My good friend Gordon (a civilian working at Camp Pendleton Marine Base) just got his first SOG: the Recon Bowie. Here's a few of his comments:


".....I GOT IT I GOT IT >>> And man is it awesome !!! It's not a knife, It is a work of ART !!! "

"..... (the Marines) all really like.. They feel it is made better and looks better than anything they get..."

".....It is a real work of art !!! I love it... More than worth the wait !! Best knife I own !!!!"

Carl, please tell him to treat her well and wipe her off each night with a wet nappy and then lightly oil. :rolleyes: .

I am sure he would be glad to get this helpful information on SOG maintenance. :D Tell him we congratulate him on a beautiful knife.

Absolutely and Positively !! No Doubt About It !!

he told me just this very afternoon that as soon as he can get a few things in order, he's gonna set out for Texas and go hog hunting with that knife !! yessirree, ol' Gordy ain't shy about making big plans.
just him and that SOG knife, mano y hoof with a Texas hog.... there's a few fellows down south there that hunt with dogs. The dogs will find the hogs and hold 'em down a bit, and Gordy and the SOG will take care of the rest of it.

now THAT is what a SOG fixed blade is all about !!
