Some may remember a while back I posted asking about having a knife modded. Several members pointed me in the direction of Glennbad. I contacted him and explained what I wanted done. Although my request was much less intricate than his usual mods, he agreed to take on the project.

I packed up the little Camillus TL-29 and sent it on its way. After finalizing a couple of last minute details, I patiently waited for my knifes turn on his work bench. My request was rather simple, I've thought for many years that the TL-29 was the perfect size and perfect blade shape for a daily use pocket knife. The only thing holding it back was the screwdriver blade and bail.

Earlier this week I received an email with a tracking number. Wednesday the package arrived. When I finally got to open the carefully packed contents, what I found in that box was nothing short of perfection. A single blade Camillus TL-29 with ebony scales and a beautiful shield. Everything was beautifully polished. I have been carrying it the last few days and it is everything I dreamed it would be. It slips in the pocket and just disappears. However, when you open it, it is substantial enough to accomplish most tasks we run into on a daily basis.

My photography skills are terrible. Thinking back, I wish I had asked Glenn to take some pictures of this beautiful work of art. Here it is

Thank you again Glenn for making this simple dream come true.

Clean, simple, elegant, and beautiful! Well done and congrats!

Really nice job, congratulations, that's a fine looking knife

Nice! Wow very impressive indeed! Great job on that restoration is all I can say. What an awesome skill to be able to bring back an old knife to such glorious beauty once again.

Dang. Very nice!!!!!

Now I have to go out and find another few TL-29s and have this mod done. I think though I'd like it turned into a single bladed liner lock. That would be fun!!
