Okay, so i have been searching for the perfect knife (for me) and aside from the ZT0200 (this is my number one contender) i would like some help finding the best.
Ideally it would be a; flipper, liner or frame lock, re-curve blade, 3 1/2 to 4 inches, thick blade and tall (but not direware like dimensions,) extra grippy handle, exotic or unique and functional ergonomics, and as for steel, i don't need the best, i would just prefer that the knife steel is what u would expect for the price u pay.
Now i know that i most likely just described the 0200, i would just like to branch out from it, and keep myself from a single brand mind set.
I would like pic intense responses, thanks

Why? If you've found a knife that fits you to a "T", why go looking for an "X" or a "Z"? I say get the 0200. You won't be disappointed.

Because i would like to see what else is out there, what if i prefer the slight differences in X or Y that change my preferences upside down, i havent seen it all, but its likely that whoever responds have seen an x and y that i might like better.

There's no way for you to know if you'll prefer the slight differences in X or Y, because you don't own "T"

Well there's that, of course. :) For what it's worth, VVV, I used to own an 0200 and based on your requirements, I honestly can't think of a knife that would fit you better . . . particularly for the price.

Ok ok, but can we at least stop with the hypotheticals and start with the recomendations, not trying to sound rude, i would just like to see other knives and compare them to the 0200 and see if i should reconsider. Thanks, and yes i know, the zt, "is" the knife i dream of, now i swear do not reply with quote me on this, im interested in seeif other knives and i would like to stay on my op's track, you can bring this back up after the thread gets started a little... :D

I don't know if it really compares to the 200 but the kershaw tremor fits the description of what you're asking for pretty closely and it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

If you don't mind trading a flipper for a wave, how about an Emerson Commander. The picture above is my Mini Commander. That and my Para 2 are my most comfortable knives to hold. It's also just a bit shorter than the Para, maybe by about 1/3 of an inch. If you'd prefer something smaller there is a micro. Since you love your 200 maybe a Regular, Super, or Uber will be more to your liking.

HTM would be at the top of my list with those specifications. They run higher than ZTs on average and many are assisted, but they're great knives.

A few recommendations:

Bullwhip

And of course, the Gunhammer (in this case, the bowie version)

That's just the first thing that comes to mind other than custom, if anything else does, I'll post it up!

Ik literally just bought my friend one for his bday yesterday, and yes it does fit, I though of getting one for myself, but decided not to jump the gun.

Good call on the HTMs, bushman. I don't know why I didn't think of them . . . :o

That's probably it. :D GP Knives has a great deal on the Bullwhip right now and they're a participating BF retailer. Should be right up your alley. Check it out.

I think most of the HTMs are around $350 new at most places, give or take based on models and features. Here on the exchange you never know. He (Darrel Ralph) also does customs, though that's a different game.

I was also thinking of the HTM gunhammer its a 3.5 inch blade with a slight recurve. S35vn steel with full aluminum handles and titanium lockbar they do run around the $300 mark though

i would save for that price, its really just the $400 mark that scares me, also is $350 the list or is that secondary market?
