My personal carry bowie

I made this one for a personal carry knife. Besides it's my first attempt at this style knife so it needs a followup or two for more practice.
Blade is 8" of 1/4" 5160 tripple edge quenched, tripple tempered. Top of blade is flat ground to about 3/16" to lighten it up a little, edge is hollow ground leaving a full 1/4" spine to the tip. It isn't going to break! 13" OAL.
Had some engraving done on this one. More detailed pics at the link.
Handle is Stabilized Walnut burl with a Mosiac pin, brass guard. Jim Auguston sheath.

The latest few issues of Blade mag and a recent post by a fellow Forumite featuring a single guard Micarta handled bowie like this were my inspiration.

Serious lookin Bowie. I'd like to take that camping just to pull it out around the campfire and show it off.
 
personal carry, 'eh? i wonder how punks in the subway are going to react when you draw that thing from a dundee sheath in your back.
