My Personal Ineptitude In Using H.I.'s Search Engines...

May possibly be exacerbated by the overwhelming volume of the archives themselves... I've read about the "Magic Gelbu Special" or "Magical Gelbu Special", and am unable to track it down; I assure you that it's not the result of intentional lackadaisicalness. If any of the true GS connoisseurs on this forum can furnish me with the specific links pertaining to this, and other special order GS's, I'd be very grateful...

P.S. Please rest assured if you read this, Uncle Bill, that my order will never appear in one of your posts entitled "Why I prefer not to accept special orders!" ;) :D

I think it was Sarge aka Silvrfalcn who coined the term magic sirupati. I don't recall anyone using a similar term for the Gelbu Special though.

I could be wrong though, and I usually am.

To be honest, that post with Yvsa chasing after you scared the heck out of me. If you need some help, I'll offer my assistance, but I'm afraid we'll need at least 1 or 2 more guys. He's a big fella

The search feature here does not seem to allow a search of an exact pair or seies of words -- like "magic gelbu." You can search posts with "magic AND gelbu."

In the HI Archive section
Search for keywords:

gelbu magic
----or
magic khukuri

then go to the last page of the found thread list to
start reading at the earliest threads.

If you use AND OR or any other search technique it
often presents problems (doesn't work, or takes
several minutes to return a result.)

You're right this time, Bruise so go ahead and enjoy your 15 minutes in the limelight. ;)

I confused Sarge's Magic Sirupati with the GS # 1. Dean set me straight with the links. They're both magical blades; excellent workmanship and really graceful lines. :o :o :o
