The year 1963 is a special year, at least, is special for me.
In 1963, here and up there overseas, many things were different.

Comics were like this

Today are like this

Comedians were like this

Today are like this

Movies were like this

Today are like this

Bikes were like this

Today are like this

Airplanes were like this

Today are like this

In few words, many many things change in 48 years. Anyway, some things were on 1963, and are today, always top notch. Examples? Elle McPherson, born on 1963, not bad at all eh?

Ok, coming back - a bit sadly I’d say: see you Elle :-( - to our beloved knives, 1963 is a great year also because of Buck…no, not this Buck

but this one, Alfred Buck

became the father of a true legend, the Buck 110 folder, the ancestor of the “modern” folding knives

This is mine Buck 110

Blade is in S30V steel, BOS tempered, nickel silver bolsters (whit patina), handle sambar stag

Heavy, affordable, robust

a true legend.
Ciao, Alfredo

Hi Alfredo!

That´s a nice photoexcurse in the past. Thank you for taking time to get this up. Back to the knife; that one is really a nice 110. And thank you for the pic of Mr. Buck, I did never a photo of that man.

Kind regards
Andi
