I've always been a little lukewarm on the southard, but those look really good. I actually like the mod way better than the original which is not typically the case with a severe modification like this.

Really great looking knives!
 
Nice mods by bowerbladeworks as usual.
I just don't have the heart to have my perfectly working southard to be operated ;D
 
I would buy that in a second if it were out. I like that so much I might hunt down a used Southard and take it to my bench
 
What is the length on the modded blade compared to the original, please?
 
After the blade is cut down it is just under 3 inches. About 2 3/4. As far as prices it all depends on material i assume. You would have to contact kevin smock at bowerbladeworks. You can find him on youtube. I would rather not discuss the price on work that is not done by me. I know he said in one of his most recent video he has a very long waiting list and at this time he might not evan he taking orders anymore because he is starting to design and make his own knives. But its worth a shot. He does great work hes done these 2 southards and is also doing a mini paramilitary 2 for me. In my opinion his work is top of the line. Its pretty much a whole new custom knife.

I wasnt the first. Not my idea. But i agree it was a great idea to make a mini southard. Its the perfect knife in my opinion. Everything i want in a knife is in this mini southard pretty much.
