My PM replies not listed in sent folder?

I received 2 PMs last night & replied to them this afternoon. My replies are not listed in my sent folder. Is this normal or did I mess up my attempts to reply? I don't know whether to try again or let it be. Please advise. Thank you.

Go to Settings (upper right) then to My Settings (left side of page) then General Settings and down on the left to General Settings, where you will find Private Messaging.

The last entry in this section is Sent Private Messages:

_ Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
_ Don't save a copy of sent messages
When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
