Yo! You guys ever have the problem with pocket clips becoming loose/losing screws, etc.? I've gone thru many a knife not because of any blade issues but because the pocket clip is unworthy. I found a Browning model 117 that has it's pocket clip anchored into the handle (I don't know if that's a proper description,:o) and it's never loose. In fact, it's the best everyday-used pocket knife I've owned. Anyway, what's your two cents, is this just a product of cheap knives? Late!

you'd probably do better posting this in the general discussion. The traditional forums isn't quite as keen on pocket clips...

welcome to BF.

The few times I had issues with pocket clip screws loosening, I simply used Loctite (242/243) to keep 'em tight.

I only use pocket clips IWB, so if it does loosen an fall off, the knife will go into my legs and I'll know it's there.

i painted my car and well it looked mint , i was so excited that i forgot to put the handbrake on it when i went to show it to my friend, the car rolled down the hill and i run after it leaned on the window by luck i was able to pull the brake , unfortunately i had my folder with a clip point on my front pocket and i scratched the door pretty bad , i had to paint the door again , is the only problem i ever had with a knife clip

What they said about loctite. I use the blue loctite not the red. It holds just as well for what you need it for yet is still able to give in when you need to remove the screw if you bend the clip badly.
