well i got my blade profiled, and id love to be able to post a pic of my progress... but i havent the foggiest clue how to post it.. can anyone share with me how to do it?
 
i was reading in my profile rules and i guess i cannot post attachments? how does one get to the point of being able to post attachments?
 
Basic members can post pictures, they just have to be hosted off site.
Go to www.tinypic.com (it's a free photo hosting site) and upload your photos there. They will even supply the correct vB code; just copy the stuff that is surrounded by tags and paste it into your post here.

ah, it worked! well theres my first knife in progress... its taken with a crappy camera... but what do yall think so far?
 
Thanks Man, commin from a professional, your comment meant a lot to me as a beginniner! :D I wont be in the shop for a few days.. just a question for anyone wanting to anser. i need to get all that dark scale smoothed off.... 120 grit sandpaper? the problem then is it scratcehs up the bevel on the blade....
 
soak it in vinegar for a few hours and the scale will almost just wash off, maybe just a little steel brush or steel wool to get it off.
