I checked out the Fort Boise gunshow today. Pretty unexciting as far as knives go, but I did find 2 decent deals....
I found two people selling the Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Hawkbill CKHB. One was asking $25, which was a no go for me. The other wanted $15 which I was prepared to pay. I went back at the end of the show (only a few minutes left) and they said they would take $12.50. It's not an amazing knife, but at that price it was a no brainer.
The other was the Benchmade 723 new in box limited edition (number 74, 723sbkd2-701). I bought that one at the asking price of $100. I wasn't too hot on the combo edge, but it is a very nice knife.
I'm not too familiar with the knife world.... is the 723 a knife you would actually use, or should I keep it as a collector's knife?
If anyone is in Boise, the seller had one more 723 (not sure what number).
