Here's a new Millennium Black Bowie that pushed my envelope as far as it's ever been pushed. The CPM-3V blade is 14", 20" OAL. Handle is Black Linen Micarta with hollow pins. Total weight is just 15 oz.

The tooled sheath is by Sandy Morrissey.

So, this is your latest neck knife design. Very much in keeping with the rest of the Millennium line. I'm sure that Matt Draper will be pleased

Honestly, Jerry, that's one beautiful piece of steel. And I can just imagine how it must move at only 15 oz! And the sheath is absolutely gorgeous- Sandy does fantastic work.

Now, could ya pleeease stop foolin' around with these dinky little blades and start workin' on my Black Espada?!

Tuvo muy mala suerte...se callo en mi cuchillo.

Hey! I've got one of those! 14" blade, black micarta, fancy pins, the whole deal -- speaking of pins, I notice those pictured look like the regular hollow tubes. Was that a typo, or are they just not showing up in the picture, or what?

What do you do to make the blades lighter? Do you use thinner stock, or do the hollow grind deeper?

Your knives are among my favorites. That one is really beautiful!

A guitar's alright John but you'll never earn a living by it.

Oops, those are hollow pins. You have sharp eyes there Joel. Sorry about that!

I made this one as light as I dared by thinning the spine on the forward half of the blade, which does mean the hollow grind was deeper in that area than normal.

Mario, your steel is all marked out and ready to cut.

Thanks all.
