Just got the stuff in last night. Does this look too mall ninja?
Any Ideas on an adjustable strap for the drop from the belt?

I think it'd look a bit less awkward without the molle back on the sheath, but if it works who cares? :)

Well i planned on wearing it low on my thigh while i hike, keep it out of the way of my hip belt. I know it does look a bit awkward, but when resting i drop my pack, and this would allow me to keep some essentials on me when i drop everything else and am filltering water or such. It looks fine to me, but so did a mullet at one time...haha

Is there any advantage of having such a big pouch on your knife sheath as opposed to your belt? I somewhat like the idea of a small pouch (maybe a size of a multitool) on a sheath, but a big thing like this I would rather carry on the opposite side on my belt to balance the load.

im 5'7" so my hip belt rides right over my belt line. Putting things there gets uncomfortable when you have been walking a while. kind of keeps it out of sight, out of mind, at least until i need it. not very heavy anyway. i dont notice it there, but i do around my beltline. just wondering if other people thought it looked goofy.

BTW.... any ideas for an adjustable drop strap?

I think it looks fine, and as long as it works for you, thats all that matters. What about using the strap or straps from an old bag or backpack as a drop strap?
