To continue my post fromhere, Ontario knives has not yet responded to my email, my letter, or the box of Old Hickory knives I sent them after cutting the knives in half. Nothing I sent was rude, vulgar, or profane, I very plainly asked for an explanation of the problems between the two companies and expressed my displeasure with their knives. I have had no response whatever.
As for my RAT Cutlery purchase, I'm very impressed with my RC-4. I don't like the kydex sheath as well as I did the molded one that comes with the RC-3 but it's serviceable which is good enough. The knife itself is great. It's been a good size for all around chores up here on the edge of the continent, it's comfortable to carry and use, and I feel very confident in its quality.
If anyone hears anything about Ontario stepping up and doing the right thing I'd like to hear it.
