Well Friday, I helped my Mom saddle up for a ride on her horse, and she forgot her knife so she asked to borrow my Raven2..... Yesterday, I asked her if she had my knife. Owe she says, I left it at the house in the horn bag. Today, I asked her for it......... she couldn't find it; you could tell she was distraught about not being able to find it. She went everywhere she unsaddled her horse, and even drove out and looked around where they had a pop break while riding horses. She gave me $$ to order another one tonight; so at least that's cool.

In the 3 months I had my Raven2 knife, I literally took it everywhere, baling hay, mowing fence lines, fishing, unpackaging boxes...... you name it. If you guys/gals haven't tried one I definitely recommend one!

I only once had to sharpen it, and that was because I rolled the edge when I thought I was cutting weeds off the end of the weed whacker.. but there was a piece of barb wire wrapped in there too. :O Sharpened right up on arkansas stones in 5 minutes back to perfection.

I can't say enough good things about this knife even though it's one of the cheaper line of spyderco knives. Guess I'll have to carry the Burple PM2 in S110V for a few more days till a new raven shows up. I think I'm going to put a bright colored teather on the next one so it doesn't "fly away" again! :P

Thanx for sharing. It is a nice piece. After many years working with the maker, he passed the tipping point of quality.

On the day that I took these pictures, I drove that 4010 JD for over 9 hours with that knife in my front right pocket and couldn't even tell it was there; wasn't sore from carrying it later.

Trust me, when I say 5th gear wide open flipping hay with a V-rake on a tractor for 9 hours bouncing around; it's safe to say it carries in the pocket VERY nicely! :)

Boy....... Sal looks like these are flying off the shelves?! Found one place that had them left in stock.......... Lets see how fast knifeworks sends me my new one to Sabula, Iowa?!
